We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Officer to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and efficient financial processes.

The role involves managing accounting activities through our ERP system, coordinating with external accountants and auditors, and supporting management with financial reporting, cash-flow monitoring, and practical financial insights.

We are seeking an organized, reliable, and proactive professional who is comfortable handling accounting operations independently while contributing to the company's financial organization and growth.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing daily accounting activities and maintaining accurate records in ERP.

• Recording supplier bills, customer invoices, payments, expenses, and other accounting transactions.

• Preparing supplier payments, monitoring due dates, and coordinating payment approvals.

• Issuing customer invoices and following up on outstanding payments.

• Performing bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.

• Managing petty cash, expense documentation, and reconciliations.

• Maintaining organized financial records and supporting documentation.

• Coordinating with external accounting and audit firms for tax compliance, reporting, audits, and financial closing activities.

• Preparing periodic financial reports, including cash positions, receivables, payables, and profit and loss statements.

• Monitoring cash flow, upcoming financial commitments, and payment schedules.

• Supporting budget monitoring, cost tracking, and project profitability analysis.

• Providing management with financial observations, recommendations, and insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for candidates with the following background:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliations.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP systems; Odoo experience is strongly preferred.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, trading, or project-based companies is an advantage.

• Good command of English and Arabic.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of responsibilities.

• Analytical and proactive mindset, with the ability to identify issues and recommend improvements.

Professional accounting certifications are considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
